CORREL Inc.
Producer / Architectural Designer
Chief Executive Officer: Chieko Otsuka Orrell

After receiving mentorship from Broadway musical producer Mary Rogers, I launched my career as a lyricist and vocal producer. I later took on the role of television producer for the drama series Hotel on TBS, while also appearing in numerous commercials for major brands such as Shiseido, UCC, and Kao as a narrator and vocalist. I established a versatile presence in the industry, excelling both behind the scenes and as a performer.

Following marriage and childbirth, I transitioned into a new creative domain: architecture and design. Building on experience in interior design for condominiums and detached houses, I undertook the comprehensive production of an entire luxury condominium building in 2007, which was awarded the Good Design Award in 2008. I was responsible not only for the overall project direction but also for the design of all model rooms, spatial coordination, and furniture design.

Since then, I have accumulated extensive experience in producing and designing a wide range of spaces, including retail stores, clinics, offices, residential buildings, condominiums, educational facilities, showrooms, and commercial complexes.

In 2012, I established FIVEC Inc., and in 2019, its design division became independent as CORREL Inc. While continuing to lead architectural and spatial design projects, I have also been actively involved in corporate branding and packaging design for confectionery brands. Additionally, I have expanded into real estate consulting, providing end-to-end production services that integrate real estate, design, and lifestyle solutions.

With a rare ability to analyze from both creative and business perspectives, I specialize in revitalizing underutilized assets—be they products, properties, or companies—and transforming them into new sources of value through strategic and innovative production.
